Speaker Biography
Dr. Jill L. Abraham, VMD, DACVD Specialty: Dermatology
Dr. Abraham received her Veterinary Medicine Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She completed a small animal rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Red Bank, NJ in 2004. Following her internship Dr. Abraham stayed at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital for one additional year working as a general practitioner. Between 2005 and 2007 Dr. Abraham was a resident in dermatology at Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Abraham became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in the summer of 2007. While her research involved antibiotic-resistant bacteria of the skin, she also has a strong interest in feline skin diseases and enjoys all aspects of dermatology. She joined InTown Veterinary Group in September 2007.
