We have an active schedule of events planned for basset hound fanciers.  Every year we hold independent and designated specialty dog shows, matches (practise dog shows), fun picnics (games and more), an informal field trial and dinner meetings with speakers.

Annual Field Trial!!!	May 28-29, 2010 Friday & Saturday	Little Rhody Beagle Club Rhode Island	Mike Arruda laurelwoodbassets@verizon.net	For the first time in over 25 years Pilgrim Basset Hound Club will be holding an AKC licensed field trial!  Come join the fun, whether as a spectator ("the gallery") or a competitor. New:  AKC will allow spayed bitches and neutered dogs to compete for field championships effective February 1, 2010. Capital District Basset Hound Club will hold a two-day trial on Sunday and Monday on the same weekend at the same location. Watch this web site for information.
